The Seattle Seahawks staged a stunning fightback to overcome the Rams in overtime, clinching their spot in the postseason.

Overcoming a 30-14 hole in the final period, the Seahawks emerged victorious 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight victory.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a post-season spot earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks secured their place to the postseason after a two-year hiatus.

With this outcome, the Seattle have taken over their Conference standings with a twelve and three record, replacing the Rams, who fell to the fifth seed with an 11-4 standing.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two picks but regrouped to deliver two scoring throws, culminating in the tying score to wideout Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The visitors held a 13-7 lead at the break before Walker broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for the home side.

Los Angeles cornerback Josh Wallace then returned Darnold's first interception for 56 yards, leading to a short touchdown by Corum on the ensuing snap.
