The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and sinister influences increasing in power within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his own means, entering the secret base, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
